Josh & Danny,
In many sports, exclamations that come during moments of aggression are somewhat expected, if not welcome. I'm thinking of tennis, karate, and even weight lifting. The exclamation is an indication of giving everything you've got to that moment.
However, the yells that I've seen in fencing always seem to come after the action is complete.
Can a fencer facing a banshee ask the director to silence their opponent? Can a fencer be carded for not obeying "unofficial" rules?
Re: the podcast, I think the intro should be a little shorter, and a little outro would be nice as well. I liked how one of the 'casts ended with Danny saying "see you on the strip!".
I would just like to let everyone know that not all saber fencers are crude and loudmouthed. I personaly have never screamed after a piont scored, or at any time during a bout.
I am ashamed that my fellow saber fencers would participate in this rude and annoying ritual. i have to agree with Josh and Danny that it has gone to far and needs to go.
I have read the article that they are refering to and would strongly suggest that others who have not read it, read it to.
J and D,
I am an avid fencer, and I thank you for producing an awesome fencing podcast.
Love the show.

Where can I find this article online? I've been up against banshees and seen/heard banshees in other areas of a match. They're very annoying.
