Good discussion of the right-of-way issue in foil re: the flick and other "out-of-line" attacks. I'd love to hear your take on the difference between line of attack in foil as compared to sabre. Also what takes a blade out of line (esp. by parry) is judged differently in my opinion. As someone who fences only these "priority" weapons, I'm struggling a bit with this concept.
The only criticism of the podcast is that the volume is way too low and the compression is very noisy.
Thanks for the feedback. Danny and I will look into your questions for our next recording session. We've already recorded our first five sessions, and I'm a in the middle of editing episode 4 and 5. About the sound quality, I'm afraid 4 and 5 may have the same issues, but I am getting some new software, and we will be testing our recording volume before the next recording. Hopefully we can get around the compression noise. For some reason Episode 1 didn't seem to have the same problems as 2 and 3. Thanks again, Josh
